Why Dyslexic Like Me Supports Percy Jackson?
Dyslexic like me believes everyone should read Harry Potter, The Chronicles of Narnia, and The Lord of the Rings. Topping the “must read” list, is Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson series. Rick Riordan has created an excellent story line and has taken it one step further by creating a dyslexic & ADD boy name Percy Jackson. Finally, a dyslexic hero is born! Percy Jackson is a champion for all dyslexic children and teens. Percy is a very likable, funny character that all dyslexic children and teens can relate to. Also, Percy Jackson tends to be very human; he struggles in school and he has been in special ed. The Percy Jackson Series is a very entertaining and the readers will also be learning about Greek mythology, in a fun and innocent way. In addition, the Author did not forget the girls. He created a clever dyslexic & ADD girl named Annabeth. Annabeth is a very smart and witty and is one of Percy’s best friends. Dyslexic like me is a proud supporter of Percy Jackson and believes every dyslexic child and teen should read this series. Also, please note there is a Percy Jackson Graphic novel below.
