http://www.assets-school.net ASSETS School, a co-educational, independent K-12 school has been educating students who are gifted and/or dyslexic since 1969. ASSETS originally served students in Grades K-6, but expanded in 1978 to include Grades 7 and 8. The average K-8 enrollment for the is 260 students. The High School opened in the Fall of 1991 with an enrollment of two students and has increased to a student body of over 100. The faculty is comprised of approximately 40 teachers in the K-8 program and 20 teachers in the High School.

The school allows the students to excel in school and acquire life skills for their future.
The staff includes teachers with specialized training in the field of learning disabilities, as well as educational aides, one-on-one sensory cognitive reading and mental health services. With a staff to student ratio of one teacher to every eight students, each student receives significant individualized attention.
