Davis Dyslexia Correction program (Ron Davis author of the gift of dyslexia)
http://www.dyslexia.com Ron Davis believes that dyslexia is a result of an inherent mental gift or talent. People who develop dyslexia think in pictures, rather than words; they are imaginative and creative; and they try to solve problems by looking at the whole picture, rather than working step-by-step. Davis Dyslexia Correction relies on using the mental talents that dyslexic people share to overcome the learning problems. To do this, students must learn and follow a different approach to learning.

ACCESS Therapy/Tutoring, Little Rock, Arkansas
http://www.accessgroupinc.org ACCESS tutoring staff provide an individualized approach specific to each student’s learning needs. Tutoring addresses reading, spelling, comprehension, written expression, study skills and organizational strategies. We provide tutoring services at our facility or travel on a limited basis. The intensity of instruction is a critical factor when remediating a disability, therefore it is recommended that students be tutored a minimum of three times a week. ACCESS tutoring focuses on remediating a student’s deficit, therefore, we do not assist students with the completion of homework. We do assign homework and expect students to complete assignments to achieve desired outcomes. While we are working to remediate the deficit ACCESS works with the school to recommend appropriate modifications. ACCESS also evaluates tools or software that may help a student compensate for a specific weakness.
